Enhancement: Server Version or MCPN Protocol Support for PaperQA

Hello and thank you for the great work on PaperQA!

I would like to know if there are any plans to provide a server-based version of PaperQA, exposing its functionality via a set of endpoints (e.g., a REST or FastAPI interface). Such a server would be useful for integrating PaperQA as a service in multi-component systems.

Alternatively, are you considering support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which defines a standard interface for accessing context-aware models over a network?

Both options would significantly improve interoperability and make it easier to deploy PaperQA in larger, distributed AI systems.

Yeah it's a great idea, it's on our radar. We'd need to implement this in https://github.com/Future-House/aviary which is what PaperQA builds atop for tools
