JabRef version

5.15 (latest release)

Operating system

GNU / Linux

Details on version and operating system

(Linux Mint) Linux 5.15.0-116-generic #126-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. Start JabRef (it should be started in a way, that 1) either the window has small width, or 2) side panel have big width, you need to start JabRef, so progress indication button is hidden in >>)

image

  1. Make window bigger and give some space for UI progress indication button.

See? It's gone :)

You don't even have to maximize the window, if you click on >>, it's also empty
