Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

Problem 1
- Root composer.json requires nativephp/electron ^0.1.1 -> satisfiable by nativephp/electron[0.1.1].
- nativephp/electron 0.1.1 requires illuminate/contracts ^10.0 -> found illuminate/contracts[v10.0.0, ..., v10.15.0] but these were not loaded, likely because it conflicts with another require.

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json and ./composer.lock to their original content.

How to reproduce the bug

composer require nativephp/electron

Package Version

0.1.0

PHP Version

8.1.21

Laravel Version

9.52.10

Node Version

18.8.0

Which operating systems does with happen with?

macOS

Notes

M1 Mac.

Updated composer. Now getting:

- Root composer.json requires nativephp/electron * -> satisfiable by nativephp/electron[0.1.0, 0.1.1].
- nativephp/electron[0.1.0, ..., 0.1.1] require illuminate/contracts ^10.0 -> found illuminate/contracts[v10.0.0, ..., v10.15.0] but these were not loaded, likely because it conflicts with another require.

You can also try re-running composer require with an explicit version constraint, e.g. "composer require nativephp/electron:*" to figure out if any version is installable, or "composer require nativephp/electron:^2.1" if you know which you need.

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json and ./composer.lock to their original content.

Tried:

composer require illuminate/contracts ^10.0

./composer.json has been updated
Running composer update illuminate/contracts

You are running Laravel 9, NativePHP requires Laravel 10 – therefore you're getting the constraint error.

Please update your app v10 and try again.

Update However, the documentation says that Laravel 9 is supported, which is odd because the composer.js explicitly requires "illuminate/contracts": "^10.0". I guess support for Laravel 9 was planned but not shipped in the current beta.

Good eye. Thank you!

Sorry about the docs being incorrect. We're not planning to back-port support to Laravel 9 at this stage
