defer {...} was first released in Perl v5.36 as an experimental feature. This issue tracks its progress toward the end of its experimental phase.

There are currently no planned extensions to this experiment. It is currently simply waiting out its bug-discovery period.

Huh, there was already a ticket for these that I somehow failed to notice. #17949
