Describe the bug

Please can someone from MS provide any feedback on the unfixed issue #10117 ? It's been two years since anyone from MS has replied in it.

Forgive me for raising another issue in order to get attention to an existing one, but a lot of companies are waiting for this to be fixed, and I found no other option.

Hey @alex-jitbit. I've cleared the milestone on #10117 so we'll take a fresh look at it in triage. That won't happen until folks come back in January, and even then, the next release for a possible fix is .NET 7.
