I'm one of the maintainers of https://github.com/shakacode/bootstrap-loader.

Would there be any interest in this as an option?

Can you explain the difference between this project and React Bootstrap, and why would somebody choose one over the other?

Our project complements react-bootstrap usage. We provide the bootstrap styling support, including support for sass customization and CSS modules, with a simple config file.

It's peanut butter and jelly.

I see. I think we probably won't support this directly. Instead I would encourage people to create projects that use bootstrap-loader to customize CSS, and then publish the resulted compiled CSS as an npm package. Then CRA based projects can consume this package without being burdened by the configuration.
