Table border formatting

Hey Guys,

I'm new to these customizations, I'm trying to use example 25 it was just that the borders were too small for my data. I'm trying to modify the width of borders, but I'm unable to do that properly. I'm stuck at moving | after the data fields. Can someone help me to move "|" ?

When I do that it actually moves the text, I just want the border to be moved. By finetuning the border the text appears to be in the center, I want that to be left aligned.
