Are there future plans for supporting Firebase Analytics for tvOS platform?

Fabric is being integrated into Firebase and is the process of sunsetting Fabric.
As a previous user of Fabric Answers, the option for migration is to use Firebase Analytics.

I am aware that at the moment Analytics is not supported for tvOS #10 (comment)
For tvOS there is a dilemma that upon the termination of Fabric service, there would be no more Fabric Answers and Firebase Analytics is not supported for tvOS.

There are migration steps for Fabric Answers to Firebase Analytics but it is not yet a solution until Firebase Analytics is supported for tvOS.

And the same can be stated for MacOS support.

The Future of Fabric
Firebase is Google’s mobile development platform. It helps app teams succeed by providing tools to build better apps, improve quality, and grow your business. Now, it also includes Crashlytics, phone authentication, and more from Fabric.
We are integrating the best of Fabric into Firebase to give you one powerful platform. We’ll support Fabric until mid-2019, but we encourage you to migrate to Firebase sooner so you can take advantage of the new tools we are building there.

So soon we'll need to remove Fabric from the tvOS project for migration for Firebase but there is no official support? 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Fabric was the best tool yet, because they supported all platforms. Please continue with that attitude and support tvOS 🎉

We're still exploring ways to add tvOS support for Analytics, but no specific plans to report as of today.

@JavanPoirier Crashlytics works fine. Support for Analytics is the thing.

Thanks for sharing @paulb777.

Why can't you just add the iOS version to tvOS - would they not work the same as all your doing is tracking device id and what the user is go to and from.

Please, add at least some basic support 🙏🏻

Curious why this is neglected/backlogged? Seems like table stakes for all the other device types

What is sad about this is that this is regarded as a "feature request" when it is in fact a regression due to the migration from Fabric to Firebase. I suspect that Firebase will be shut down or migrated to a new service before this feature is ever implemented (the standard Google way of doing things).

How has there not been a developer response to this when it's been open for 2 years?

It's 2021 now and thousands of developers are still waiting to get this functionality back after Fabric was dropped.

Hello from 2021! Guys, how is it going in 2021 without analytics?

We are fine, we use Flurry and it works on all apps (just not website) We rely on Google Analytics for that data. We have made suggestions to Flurry to allow website analytics.

When will the transition from Fabric to Firebase be available for the tvOS platform?

Firebase 8.9.0 introduces official beta support for tvOS, including Firebase Analytics. Beta support for macOS and Catalyst is also introduced. watchOS continues to be community supported.

See details about the support matrix here.

It took longer than we hoped and we appreciate your patience.

I’m going to lock this issue here. Please follow up with any questions or issues in separate reports.
