Make initialization more intuitive (it should "just work") #213

Observed on call with users - on Settings page:

  • Set a valid path (e.g., empty) for git executable
  • Set an invalid path for the temp folder

Settings page will report that git exectuable doesn't exist.

Really, initialization should "just work" and the user should be guided through the process without causing confusion.

Probably should also include initializing the repo with a README or something
