DE: Front page layout broken

I just wanted to install iojs and this is what i saw on the front page

(Stock chrome Mac OS X 10.10)

This sentence is completely confusing :S

The reason for this seems to be additional whitespaces in the links by which the "andere" doesn't have enough space and ultimately makes the sentence confusing (the en version doesn't have additional whitespaces and the spacing for en seems to come from a CSS).

I wanted to fix it but realized that there is a special index.md in the de directory whereas most other versions simply adjust a template.json. Confused again => opening ticket :D

Yes, this is a known issue. It's a bit problematic as long as the homepage is generated from a plain markdown file instead of a template.
