Description

It's really annoying that sometimes bugs are not caught in CI on 8.2 because it doesn't have an ASAN job, and then fails on higher branches.

I agree with the sentiment, it throws things off not having it for this branch.

Not super necessary anymore since that branch is sec-only and runs nightly, so closing...
