Hi @embetrix ,

There was a switch in maintainers and we are working on updating the software and gaining the necessary access to be able to create a new release. I hope we can get it done soon.

Hi, @mathiasertl
Great to hear that it could move on with this project. Release is due even without new things.
It looks like the version 0.7.0 on pip3 is not in sync with source on github.
I am on ubuntu 22.04 and my pip returned something that has no wait_for_slot_event:

AttributeError: 'pkcs11._pkcs11.lib' object has no attribute 'wait_for_slot_event'

Hi @mathiasertl, do you need some help with releasing procedure? If so, feel free to reach out. Maybe I could help somehow :)

Well a release containing #183 would be very much appreciated :)
I saw multiple issues complaining about Python3.12+ support for Windows

Sorry, when I commented, I was under the mistaken impression that this was about a different project.

I do not have the permissions to publish a release.

@mathiasertl can you fork out this project elsewhere where you can control it ? there is no reason to maintain and work on a project where no releases are planned ...

Hello, I have access to make releases (but not to make new release managers). I do not have the time to perform major maintenance tasks (which this project unfortunately needs) but I can review PRs, merge them, and run the release for v0.8.0.

My comments requesting changes in previous PRs have gone unanswered so unfortunately most of the PRs that are on the critical path are stuck. I know #183 is easy to fix myself. What else do people think is required before we can cut v0.8.0?
