"run_script --transcript" output does not contain exceptions raised

When executing a command interactively on the command line, it may run into an exception and that exception is printed to the console. When executing a command from a script using run_script and requesting a transcript to be genrated via --transcript, those exception-messages are not included. So when reviweing the transcript, one does not see the errors.

Is that how it is intended to be? Wouldn't it make more sense to have exception-generated-printout as part of the trasncript, at the very location where it occurred?

Ah, I only looked in the discussions but not the issues. Seems like #1185 and #1209 are related.
