I would be very happy, if there would be iptables support in the "official" kernel!
The needed modules are listed e.g. here: https://fermiparadox.wordpress.com/2007/02/04/configuring-an-ipv6-gateway-with-debian/ or here http://www.faqs.org/docs/iptables/kernelsetup.html

I would like to use a RaspberryPi to get IPv6 using a tunnel (already works) and then share that ipv6 connection in the local network (doesn't work yet)

Can you test latest kernel? (e.g. from Hexxeh's rpi-udpate). It should be supported.
