It appears that only 32 bit rustup-setup.exes causes this issue on my Windows machine.

C:\Users\Public\Downloads>rustup-setup-g64.exe --version
multirust-setup 0.1.4
C:\Users\Public\Downloads>rustup-setup-v64.exe --version
multirust-setup 0.1.4

(32 bit versions won't even run with --version)

$ sha256sum rustup-setup*.exe
