JSR-356 support within the WebSphere Liberty Profile is scheduled to be generally available on December 9th.

Rossen Stoyanchev, along the lines of our WebLogic 12.1.3 support, let's see what we can do there...

This turns out to be harder than expected since certain WebSphere interfaces/classes that we'd need for it aren't accessible on Liberty Profile (at least not by default). Rescheduling for Spring Framework 4.2, allowing for a few cycles with the WebSphere application server team at IBM.

The current target is Spring Framework 4.2.1, tracking WebSphere Liberty 8.5.5.7 which is scheduled to come with a WebSocket upgrade API by September.
