How to get type safety when using custom directive in template?

Hi, i want to get type hint in template when i would use custom directive but it show only type any.
in example,

// tooltip.ts
const directive: Directive<
  HTMLElement,
  string | { content?: string; triggers?: ("hover" | "click")[] }
> = {
  mounted(el, binding) {
    ...
  },
  
};

I added directive to vueApp by driective method and it worked but it shows no hint about v-tooltip

Do you have Volar and Volar TypeScript installed?

oh! it seems work well when using it in component. thank you! I insalled already volar and typescript.
I have used nuxt and added directive to plugin but it didn't suggest proper hint. so i guess nuxt have a problem!

this doesn't work when you registered them globally though, at least not without typescript and custom entrypoint
