Description

Adding new Maker board platform with mbed enabled with BLE, GNSS and Sensors.
The board implements:

  • NINA-B1 Bluetooth Low Energy module
  • EVA-M8Q GPS and GLONASS receiver
  • MPU9250 9DOF IMU
  • MKL26Z based CMSIS-DAP interface.

How was this target tested? any tests results to can be shared here?

We have first prototypes in house of this board. It was functionally tested in the lab. We are now making minor tweaks to the prototype for usability, before it is made available to developers. When we get the next samples I can send you guys a few samples for your test farm.

eva_nina

Plattform is very simple as it is just inherited from the NRF52_DK with different pin mapping and no hw flow control on the CMSIS_DAP Uart.

Functional test included:

  • CMSIS_DAP (UART, SWD, Drag and Drop)
  • DigitralOut for Blinking LED
  • Serial with GPS / PC
  • I2C with MPU sensor / GPS
  • DigitalOut / AnalogIn for supply enable / voltage measurement
  • DigitalIn / Out on pin headers
  • BLE UartService
