My server's downtimes have been so extreme in the past month that I'd feel bad if I kept it in the docs anymore.

Reasons included frequent Ethernet driver errors even when having 2 Ethernet cards and a Wi-Fi card at disposal; the inability to sync AGH settings with a 2nd device that'd be used as the secondary server that all major DNS services have; and non-existent feedback from the 40-or-so people who use(d?) the server.

What kind of ethernet errors do you see on your server?

The problems usually boil down to downtime.

• Restarts of my computer to handle updates or Windows problems. Downtimes of around 3min.
• Occasional problems that Asuscomm has with its Dynamic DNS upstream servers. Downtime usually only affected encrypted DNS and not standard DNS.
• (Though not as much of a problem now than it was in September 2025) Power outages due to a faulty flip switch in the house's electricity system.
• My PC's Ethernet drivers work less than stable. After several cases of my PC failing to detect my network on boot, I began using both of my network ports (My motherboard's 2.5Gb/s port and a PCIe 10Gb/s port) to connect to my network; though now sometimes only 1 of the ports detect the network, and the one seems to be randomly either of the 2 ports. At the best of times this leads to 6min downtime, while at the worst of times it leads to 6 hours downtime. It's also pretty much lotto whether they detect IPv6 on boot as well, requiring further manual setting of network settings by me.
