Is it possible to support gitlab-ce?

As the title says, I have set up gitlab-ce on my server.
The domain name will be like this: https://gitlab.selfhosted.me
Is this supported by deepwiki-open?

This is gonna be a lil bit more challenging, there are a few concerns on top of my head:

1. SSL certificates: If your self-hosted GitLab uses self-signed certificates, you might need to add options to bypass certificate verification in the API requests.
2. Authentication: Diff org might have diff ways to auth to retrieve files.

Ideally, i would love to see this project driving to a direction where it supports any git projects. Throw in any local repository folder and no need to handle different domains/api variations. And guess what, all of these can be completely offline, if we were to run the embedding/generation local models.

Yeah local repositories would be awesome. Especially if you combine that with a locally hosted LLM, which means nothing of code or anything leaves your infra at any point!

Is this domain support all the Gitlab api? like '/api/v4/projects/xxxx' or readme api

Just a quick update related to this issue:

Support for GitLab self-hosted instances has been introduced via PR #91. Tests have been performed successfully using a gitlab/gitlab-ee Docker container.

✅ Self-hosted GitLab (EE-based) is now working as expected.
🔍 However, testing with GitLab CE (gitlab/gitlab-ce) is still pending.

If anyone is using GitLab CE in self-hosted mode, it would be great to have some community feedback on compatibility.
