2.0a1 Pre-release
Pre-release

Currently when I release this, FossHUB and GitHub seem encountering errors so I can't upload release files there. You can choose OneDrive or direct link from Cloudflare R2. These are only temporary solutions, will expire once I've uploaded these files to GitHub Release and FossHUB.

Demucs-Gui 2.0 is still under development, please open an issue if you've found a bug

If you are using RTX 50 Series, additional runtime is required. For more information, please see 1.3.2.1 Runtime for Blackwell. You will need to download the CUDA build here first. Only Windows is supported.

To use RTX 50 Series GPU (Blackwell), you need to replace some files. First download CUDA build of 1.3.2 or newer verions (make sure that you've downlaoded the GPU build), and download the torch runtime for blackwell from this release. After extracting the main program, remove the torch folder and replace it with this torch blackwell runtime.

Updated on Jul. 11th, 2025: The new torch-blackwell-for-2.x.7z added missing DLLs that 2.x would require

P.S. Uploading files GB-size with 10Mbps bandwidth is really annoying

In version 1.2b1, Qt has been upgraded to 6.7.0, which added a new window style windows11 that is not stable enough and has been set to default on Windows by Qt developers. In 1.2b2, the default style on Windows has been set back to windowsvista, but this will only take effect if you are using Demucs-GUI the first on this computer. To reset window style, please click on the menu bar: About -> Reset style

If the program can't start up on macOS, please follow the instructions here.

THIS IS THE LAST VERSION OF 1.x. There is no fonctional change comparing to 1.3.1, but adding showing update information when new version is detected so you can better understand what has changed in future releases and decide whether to update.

If you are using RTX 50 Series, additional runtime is required. For more information, please see 1.3.2.1 Runtime for Blackwell

The original pre-release file Demucs-GUI_1.3a1_cuda_mkl.7z has a bug that all output audio would be full of NaN. I've updated the file at 2024-10-23 14:29 GMT and the old one has been renamed to Demucs-GUI_1.3a1_cuda_mkl_ALL_NAN.7z

The original pre-release file Demucs-GUI_1.3a1_cuda_mkl.7z could not start up because a DLL file is missing. I've updated the file at 2024-11-01 10:06 GMT and the old one has been renamed to Demucs-GUI_1.3a1_cuda_mkl_DLL_MISSING.7z

The original pre-release file Demucs-GUI_1.3a1_macOS_ARM64.dmg could not load models due to incompatible versions. I've updated the file at 2024-11-01 10:45 GMT and the old one has been deleted.
