## 📖 Getting Started
### Prerequisites
Ensure you have the following installed on your machine:
- Python
- Github
- Git
# Course Management - Installation and Setup Guide
## ✅ Installation
### Clone the repository:
```bash
git clone https://github.com/thetanish1/Course-Management.git
Navigate to the project directory:
cd Course-Management
## 🚀 Run Development Server
Start the Django development server:
python manage.py runserver
Visit your app at:
http://127.0.0.1:8000/
## ⚙️ Migrate Database
Before first run, apply migrations:
python manage.py migrate
You will Face the problem in pycache while commiting your work , the reason is , when you are trying to push your work or commit your work to repo, this whill hit error of not saved your work, because this files changes continuosly to it will better to tell git that you have to ignore this file and commit other works.
Following steps will shows how will you achieve this:
- Add pycache/ to .gitignore : echo pycache/ >> .gitignore
- Remove pycache from Git tracking : git rm --cached -r courseapp/courseapp/pycache/
- Commit the change : git add .gitignore : git commit -m "Ignore pycache files"
- Check status again : git status
Just copy paste the commands in cmd.
