Actually, the 1.12-nightly is not fully updated to work with GPUCompiler, it requires JuliaLang/julia#57871 to be merged. Also the VERSION check in https://github.com/JuliaGPU/GPUCompiler.jl/pull/677/files need to be updated.

Updated the version check and merged the 1.12 backport PR but will take some time before 1.12-nightly updates.
