Making the account of Magicblocks Developer

Go to magicblocks website http://magicblocks.io/

  • Select SIGNUP

  • Click on the SIGN UP button after inserted your details

  • Go to the email account you provided and activate your Magicblocks account with the Activation Link

  • Follow the Activation Link which we have sent you as an email.

  • Log In to Your Magicblocks.io Account

  • Enter your email address and the Magicblocks Password and sign in to magicblocks

  • Go to Magicblocks.io official website. www.magicblocks.io

  • Select LOGIN

  • Provide your login details.

Connecting to a WiFi network

  • Power up module from USB or Battery.
  • Connect your device as wifi access point of your computer.

  • Navigate to http://192.168.4.1in your browser

  • Select the WiFi network through which the MagicZero should connect to internet from the dropdown menu.

  • Enter the password of the WiFi network selected previously.

  • Click 'Submit' and you will receive a message “Access point saved. Restarting…”

If connection to WiFi is successful, navigate to the Device Manager of your magicblocks account (refresh if already opened) and you should see that the connection is showing a green 'thumbs up' icon.

After setting up MagicZero ,you can disconnect it from your computer Network setting and connect your default access point for getting access to the Internet.

Add your MagicIoT Device

  • Click on Device Manager button of your Magicblocks Account

  • Click on Add Device

  • Fill out following details

  • Device ID: (which is printed on the top side of your device chip)

  • Serial Key:(which is printed on the top side of your device chip)

  • Name:Any Name

Activate PLAYGROUND in Magicblocks.io.

All your Flows create in magicblocks should be create on your PLAYGROUND. Therefore activate it firstly.

Follow these steps to do it!

  • Go to the Playground tab in your Magicblocks developer account

Activate the playground using start playground reference. Then the web page appears as follows. (If you entering the playground the web page appears in bellow picture, you don't want to follow above steps)

  • The Edit button showing with dotted line in the above picture you can enter the playground.

  • To create the Magicblocks.io platform, first you need to add your Magicblocks.io device to your Magicblocks Developer Account. Do it according the following video.
