cons2-python is a library used to calculated consumptive use based on the Blaney-Criddle method. Originally written in FORTRAN but has been translated and updated to Python and object-oriented programming. It includes several modifications mostly focused on input and output file format and structure but also includes alternative methods for calculating Blaney-Criddle consumptive use. It was built with support from the USGS Arizona Water Science Center.

No installation is required whether using the stand-alone executable or the Python code.
