Font assets are duplicated in production build

Fonts seem to be placed in the root of the production build (dist folder). Ideally they would remain in dist/assets/fonts just like images.

This seems to be related to this and this.
I think that the following is happening:

• src/assets in assets makes the assets directory available in dist/assets
• The imports in the global styles are flattened to dist

I have no idea how to configure that behaviour but it seems like this is fixed.

So, the other possibility to avoid duplication would be to include src/assets but to ignore src/assets/fonts. Here is the schema of the assets array. Here is the definition of assetPattern. It is either a list of strings (paths) or list of objects, with glob patterns. It allows glob patterns BUT does not support glob options.

The idea would be to write something like this.
