Issue with Goto Symbol

When I open Goto Symbol, for some reason I am getting not only sections, subsections and labels, but also other LaTeX blocks (see the screenshot).

I am not sure whether it is something related to LaTeXTools or other packages (though, it works for other file formats). I would be happy for any pointers how to fix it.

It used to work for me (but for some reason it does not work anymore).

Have you tried removing LaTeXTools and seeing what happens? When I do that with LaTeXTools installed it only shows Sections and Figures (No latex code shown like yours).

Anyway what are you writing? Thesis? :)

OK, so I see - it is not LaTeXTools issue. Disabling LaTeX, or changing Defaults/Symbol List.tmPreferences (if I understand the later correctly) does not help either. No ideas where to look as well. Any hints?

I guess you closed the issue because it's unrelated to LateXTools. Anyway could you please give me a list of what else you might have installed? I believe your attempts are in the right direction, however those files are default and are probably not causing that issue. Just to make sure, is the syntax language set to LaTeX?

If you used package control you can look at /User/Package Control.sublime-settings, if you manually installed you can open the console and type import sublime;import glob;glob.glob(sublime.packages_path()+"/*")

Preferences -> Package Settings -> Package Control (for the first one)

Yes, I closed it as it is not directly related to problems with LaTeXTools.

(No, LaTeXTools_dev is not an issue - with it physically removed the problem persists.)

Yes, the syntax is set to LaTeX. (And for other sytnaxes Goto Symbol works fine.)

I would also try ignoring sublime code intel, it may add some of its own tags

Can't really think of what else. I personally would just create a new portable ST directory for purely writing LaTeX, which is what I will probably do.

It is Better CoffeeScript that causes the error.
As I see, also plain CoffeeScript package causes the error, so maybe its just the latter.

(OK, now I see, while disabling packages for the first time, I didn't check basic ones like CoffeeScript. Anyway, I am curious why...)

SublimeCodeIntel does not cause a problem here.

Still, I don't understand why this problem happens...

Great that you solved it, I haven't used most of the plugins you mentioned. My guess is it is due to the file here, https://github.com/Xavura/CoffeeScript-Sublime-Plugin/blob/a997d16b50b4819a134f03817056bb446815e914/Symbol%20List.tmPreferences which you may notice is different to https://github.com/aponxi/sublime-better-coffeescript/blob/master/Symbol%20List.tmPreferences in a minor way, it is missing a single source.coffee to tell it to only look in coffeescript files. (that is my guess anyway).

You could try editing your Coffeescript plugin's Symbol List file to fix that issue. (you will need to extract the package)

As of now I don't use CoffeeScript, so it's not a big pain. (I was thinking about switching form JS to CoffeeScript some time ago. Maybe I will try again one day.)

Anyway, a nice spot; in a minute of free time I will try looking into it.
