How to: Screen Transition which looks like element of current scene is expanding to full screen

Hi all :)
I'm building this react native app in which I have a Tab bar with three items. The one in the middle is an action button, which expands to a full screen view displaying multiple options once you tap on it. I was wondering, if you could also implement it via react native router flux, by customizing the scene transition function.
