👨‍💻 Ed's Coding Journey

I started my coding journey since 2012. Initially, I delved into the realms of HTML/CSS and jQuery, transitioning from a background in web and graphic design. My foray into coding was a serendipitous discovery that led me to unravel a deep-seated passion. In the nascent stages, I thrived as a Web Designer, crafting visually stunning interfaces. However, the allure of coding proved irresistible, prompting a shift in focus. I embraced the challenge, progressing seamlessly from frontend technologies to mastering the intricacies of PHP. With newfound skills, I emerged as a seasoned WordPress Developer, accumulating a wealth of experience over 11 transformative years. Despite my proficiency in WordPress, the last half-decade has witnessed a captivating immersion into the dynamic realm of React/Next.js Development. This transition marked a pivotal moment in my career, where I seamlessly integrated modern technologies into my repertoire. The MERN Stack became a familiar landscape as I honed my skills, driven by a quest for innovation and excellence. Interestingly, my passion with React.js began within the WordPress Development landscape. The catalyst? Crafting a bespoke plugin for a client sparked a fascination with React.js, ultimately steering the trajectory of my expertise. It's worth noting that my journey is uniquely self-taught; a testament to my determination and relentless pursuit of knowledge. I eschewed the traditional college route, having only graduated from secondary school. Serendipity struck when I stumbled upon the vast universe of web development a few months later. Since then, every line of code has been a testament to my unwavering commitment and passion for this ever-evolving field.
