What is the expected behavior?
The docs site contains information about all important configuration details.
What is the current behavior?
It is lacking the details about the $mdCompilerProvider that were added as part of #10016 and PR #10726. This can only be found in the code comments or CHANGELOG currently. It needs to be documented on the main docs site as well.
Which versions of AngularJS, Material, OS, and browsers are affected?
AngularJS 1.6.x
AngularJS Material 1.1.5+
Is there anything else we should know? Stack Traces, Screenshots, etc.
