- support for multiple input devices at the same time - non/multitouch touchscreen & touchpad, and mouse support - use glob patterns as input device parameters - default to /dev/input/event* if no parameters are given - detect if llvmpipe is used / underprivileged, warn if that's the case - make usage more helpful
