Thanks, I forgot about libinput.
Now that I think about it, the LIBUDEV_LDFLAGS, LIBSYSTEMD_LDFLAGS and LIBINPUT_LDFLAGS are probably missing too in target_link_libraries

Yeah, they do - I am happy start from scratch and provide another full patch. The cmake command is so useful. Just updated our local installation successfully but did need a bit of installation tweaks as you mentioned.
