Flickr API: Re-Brand

Need to re-brand licensing, code etc from FlickrJ. This must maintain the references required by FlickrJ's license agreement

It's not been resolved.
The issue was created by the F4J co-developer but he's on hiatus now.

I don't think it's a high priority so am unlikely to make time to do it myself.

Do you think it's worth doing?

Yeah, it looks like there is a bit of cleaning up to do: there's lots of mentions (65?) of Copyright (c) 2005 Aetrion LLC which it'd be nice to qualify with mention of the BSD licence that the code is actually released under. (But I haven't actually looked into the provenance of those copyright statements! Just assuming they're FlickrJ's.)

Just following up on this.
I believe that @aeden is the original creator of FlickrJ.
I wonder if he would be amenable to us removing the old copyright notices and updating everything to use the BSD licence.

I'll be happy to assign the copyright over to a BSD license. Do you need anything specific from me other than my authorization here?

I don't believe that you need to do anything else.

My rough plan is to remove the existing copyright and licence notices in the code and make it clear that the BSD licence applies.
To complicate matters, this new project also has a LICENSE-apache.txt file in its root.
I'm not sure that means that that licence has ever applied though.
I'll just leave that file there and update the existing LICENSE.txt to the BSD one.

Have had a quick look and I plan to use the BSD-2 license (the original flickrj project didn't specify a version).

I'll make it "Copyright Anthony Eden, Darren Greaves, Allan* and contributors" - this seems to follow the pattern of others using the license (I don't seem to have a surname for @callmeal but he created this new project).
