Give a way to download nightlies without docs

I've wanted this forever, I never use the local docs so downloading and installing them is a waste of time and space.

Installing without docs is easy, downloading without docs is more subtle because multirust has to know where to get all the components that aren't docs.

I filed this here but this is really an issue for rust itself to provide these hooks in the nightly downloads.

It seems this got buried. As the linked issue indicates, downloading docs should not really be the problem as the compressed docs only are a couple megs in size. However with my current setup disk space is actually at a premium so I would be very interested in freeing those 207 MB. Referring to

how is it actually done? Or can I simply remove the docs directory or will this confuse multirust during update/removal of a toolchain?

This is still on my radar. Once the new distribution tools are up and running we will stop including docs by default.

@musiKk just deleting the docs directory should be fine, but during upgrade / uninstall you may lots of warnings.

Thanks for your reply. I'll go ahead then. In the end, what's the worst that could happen? Even if upgrade turned out broken, I could just delete the whole directory and install again. Or reinstall the whole multirust.
