Depending on what kind of help with llvm-general you need you might look:

on the #haskell-llvm IRC channel on freenode if you're looking for an interactive experience,
at the source code of the tests, if you're looking for examples,
at the various LLVM docs, if you're trying to understand what this package makes available.
