Why do you want to join?

I am a user of many of django Jazzband's projects (django-hosts, django-redis, django-configurations, dj-database-url). I contributed a bit to those, I tried to convince some to move to django-commons.
I am decently skilled in django, and significantly much more in pythnon packaging (I migrated djando-rest-framework from setup.py to pyproject.toml)(and so did I for django-filter).
I am a django ecosystem lover, and I wish to keep the ecosystem moving forward.

Which project(s) are you looking to contribute to?

django-simple-history (we use it at https://github.com/tarmactechnologies/). But mostly, I hope to help many more projects to move from jazzband to django-commons (most of those mentioned above).
