Steps to reproduce

I'm using Xiaomi 11i 5G device which was working as expected before upgrading camera_android_camerax to v0.612

1. Use the default example of camera app.
2. Run and see the camera preview

Expected results

The camera preview in portrait with 0° rotation.

Actual results

The camera preview is rotated by 90°

Seems like duplicate of #154241, please follow-up in it for further updates.

Hi @darshankawar, that issue is about the general problem about some Android devices rotating the preview.

My issue is about the regression introduced by flutter/packages#8256 which is affecting devices that earlier were showing the preview correctly like Xiaomi 11i and Samsung A54.
