Noticed that the failures only occur when running with jupyter, and not raw kernel. Perhaps jupyter itself is just flakey (or maybe there's a bug with our ipywidget implementation that only affects jupyter kernels)
For now disabling jupyter server runs
package-lock.json
has been regenerated by runningnpm install
(if dependencies have changed).
