Working on the Docker Hub PR

The latest tag on Docker Hub now points to node 7.0.0, but the README for the node docker repo still shows 6.9.1 as latest. Can this be updated? It sent our engineering team on a wild goose chase trying to debug an issue today.

It looks like the https://hub.docker.com/r/_/node/ page is up to date now.

The https://hub.docker.com/r/_/node/ page, as I understand it, usually get's updated automatically after the images and tags are pushed as part of the upstream update process. Sometimes there seems to be a delay of a few hours when that page gets updated. I think that happens when there is a large number of updates being pushed or there's an existing backlog of image updates. That's not something we (meaning those who maintain this image in this repo) have any control over.

Also, and I realize this is a bit late now and probably not helpful, but I would generally recommend against using the "latest" tag. It's a docker convention that breaks down whenever we push a major version of Node.js. If you want to stay with v6 but get the latest minor and patch updates, tags like node:6 node:6-slim are the way to go.
