@Trott I'm curious why you didn't update this to https://chromium.googlesource.com/deps/inspector_protocol/+/32cf5f2bf4dc20c73ead291e68d2e2f6b638cd57. Isn't that the latest one? |
We don't have a full checkout of the inspector_protocol project. Many of the files in the source repository for the project don't exist in our version and others have been modified. So, I can't (or at least I'm not seeing an obvious way to) do cherry-picks or rebases in this situation. Instead, I apply each patch diff individually, compile and run tests to make sure it doesn't break anything, and repeat. Maybe this is inefficient and there's a better way, but I don't mind this way personally and it feels appropriately cautious (although maybe it's not any safer than some other more efficient way). Improved process suggestions are welcome. Maybe we can add a README doc somewhere with the update procedure or even create a |
