Different email domain required for GitHub Student Pack

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a student at the University of Greenwich, and the official email domain provided to students is @gre.ac.uk. However, I noticed that GitHub Education seems to expect a different or unrecognized domain @greenwich.ac.uk for verification.

Could GitHub Education update the accepted domain list to include the official University of Greenwich student email domain (@gre.ac.uk)?

If a valid university-issued email address doesn't match GitHub's expected pattern, is there a manual verification fallback that can be consistently applied?

To solve this and inform GitHub about it, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "My selected school has incorrect or incomplete information e.g. domains or campus location" and explain your issue.
