Not merging currently, as this is for release branch and it's only a version bump. Unless there is a security fix, we won't merge into release as hotfix and cherry-pick into alpha, because it's not urgent and we want to be prudent with resources. This process still needs to be documented for committers in contribution docs. Leaving this open for now.

Closing as non-vulnerability update; these are done via regular release by merging updates on alpha branch. Snyk has been reconfigured and should only open security fix PRs on release branch, which will then be backported to beta, alpha.
