Although the tiles contain now nicely non-fragmented highways in the US, we still have a fragmented display at zoom 6 for example because the styles are not yet adjusted.

Explores how styling could be done with minzoom filtering, but actually I don't think this is the right approach.
What we really should do is to demote the
kindof non-interstate highways in the US fromkind=highwaytokind=major_road. Similarly, interstatehighway=trunkshould be promoted fromkind=major_roadtokind=highway.
