Rationale: PEP 670
For some background, this change was helpful for me while working on the patch to support hexadecimal floating point literals (see discussion). Are there reasons to keep them as macros?
Has this already been discussed elsewhere?
This is a minor feature, which does not need previous discussion elsewhere
