I plan to release mypy 0.770 next Friday (March 6) and cut the release branch this Friday (February 28).

Please comment here if you have a PR or planned change you want to see in the release.

Cut the branch

I've noticed a major (25-30%?) performance regression at Dropbox, so it is possible that the release is going to be delayed while I figure it out.

Release is going to be delayed until Monday, just because I haven't gotten the blog post written yet

I've cherry-picked #8500 which fixes the performance issues

I'm also going to cherry pick #8458, which I had thought I had gotten in before the branch but was confused, which supports walrus much better

Hi! I see that version 0.770 has been released on github, when will it be available for download on pypi.org?

Maybe I'm missing something, but it looks like http://mypy-lang.org/ and the twitter account has not been updated yet.
