The AttrDict Github repo shows the project as archived.

It will break with Python 3.9 since is uses deprecated imports:

site-packages/attrdict/mixins.py:5: DeprecationWarning: Using or importing the ABCs from 'collections' instead of from 'collections.abc' is deprecated since Python 3.3,and in 3.9 it will stop working
from collections import Mapping, MutableMapping, Sequence

Either we need to find an alternative / maintained fork or replace the use of attrdicts with proper dataclasses.

We had accrued a big bunch of deprecation warnings (which usually
showed up when running the tests) which would cause breakage in future
Python versions.

This upgrades packages as necessary and fixes most warnings.
The remaining ones are being tracked here:

- raiden-network/raiden-api-client#1
- matrix-org/synapse#9641
- matrix-org/synapse#9642

This also temporarily removes the docs requirements from the dev set
since there's a conflict between `releases` and `py-solc-x` pinned
versions of `semantic-version`. See: bitprophet/releases#94
