packed_simd fails due to use of llvm_asm; this was fixed (rust-lang/packed_simd#340) but no fix released yet.

That would require updating the CHANGELOG first. I'm not sure without checking whether there have been breaking changes.

@dhardy It looks like we did not release Rand 0.8.5 yet.

@dhardy To answer you question, there have not been any breaking changes. Only the following changes are not represented in the changelog:
