Upgrade Dependencies for a patch release #63

What would you like to be added:
Some of our dependencies are getting old, it would be nice to upgrade them and release a patch version.
Why is this needed:
See #53 for reference. klog is an indirect dependency from kubernetes utils we use and needs to be updated. That's the right time to do it.
