Should Links be wrapped in XML responses?

I'm implementing some services that work with json and xml, but the link's returned is not wrapped, is it right?

I had this class extending ResourceSupport with only errorMessage attribute, then I got a XML response without the links wrapped:

As of #695, Spring HATEOAS no longer supports XML.
