Deprecate Svelte for 2.x, remove it in 3.x

The Svelte UX package is among the least-used, least-commented, least-shared...
... and there’s not much we can do to improve its Symfony integration (let's just say Svelte is not the most open framework for that at the moment 😅)

Numbers

• Last 2 years (July 2023 / July 2025), UX Svelte: ~ 70,000 downloads (𝄢)
• Last week, Stimulus Bundle: ~ 150,000 downloads (𝄞)

And while UX React is growing slowly, UX Svelte has been in free fall since the release of 5.0.

It might be explained by #2540, IIRC importmap for Svelte 5 is not compatible with the importmap for Svelte 3/4, meaning that will introduce a BC.

But I don't think we have any added value to bring expect a twig function here... seen this package is almost not used IRL.

Yeah sure, I'm fine with that too!

Even UX Map - our most recent package (2024/08) - has ~5x more downloads that UX Svelte (2023/03) this last month for the same downloads in total.

The decline is indeed explained by Svelte 5 incompatibility, but I agree the package's added value is minimal and not widely used by Symfony developers.

In my recent Svelte 5 projects, I just copy the Stimulus controller and Twig function and it works seamlessly with pentatrion/vite-bundle.

Instead of maintaining a package, a simple documentation showing the manual integration could be sufficient.
